Where it all started

Vangie’s Nursery was founded by Rosmond - known by most as Aunty Roz,  who spent over 35 years as a dedicated childminder, nurturing and supporting children with care and enthusiasm.

Her passion for early years education inspired her to open the nursery, bringing the same warmth, attention and love for children to a larger setting.

From day one, Rosamond’s vision has been to create a welcoming, family-centred environment where every child feels valued, safe, and encouraged to explore, learn and grow at their own pace.

Our Children First

At Vangie’s Daycare Nursery, we thoughtfully plan our activities around each child’s interests, development and natural curiosity. By really getting to know every child, we create experiences that feel engaging, purposeful and tailored to their interests and stage of learning, while still keeping a sense of fun and freedom throughout the day.

Our activities are designed to encourage exploration, creativity and hands-on discovery. Children are introduced to a variety of colours, textures and materials through sensory play, painting, mark-making and imaginative experiences. Each activity supports their confidence, communication and problem-solving skills, helping them learn in a way that feels natural, exciting and meaningful.

Fees & Funding

At Vangie’s Nursery, we want families to feel supported and confident in planning their childcare. We offer flexible options, clear pricing, and accept all government-funded early years entitlements to help make quality childcare accessible.

Free Early Years Entitlement

We are registered to provide the government-funded childcare hours for eligible children:

  • 15 hours per week – available for all children aged from 3 years, and for some 2-year-olds depending on eligibility.

  • 30 hours per week – available for working families of children aged 3 and 4 years. This provides extra support for families balancing work and childcare costs.

These funded hours can be used across the week and combined with additional paid hours to suit your family’s needs.

Flexible Options

We offer a variety of session times and packages, so you can choose what works best for your child and family. Whether you need morning, afternoon, full-day, or wraparound care, our friendly team will help you create a schedule that fits your routine.

Additional Fees

Any sessions beyond the funded hours are available at our competitive rates. We are transparent about all fees, with no hidden costs, so you can plan confidently.

Getting Started

To check your child’s eligibility for 15 or 30 hours funding and discuss the best options for your family, please contact us. We’re happy to guide you through the application process and help you make the most of the government support available.
